Botleys Bio is a small organic herb, chilli and speciality salad leaf farm. As you’ve probably guessed, we’re based at Botleys Farm, which is a beautiful little piece of the planet, and we’re doing our best to look after it for generations to come.
We’re registered with the Soil Association and gained full organic status in December 2008. Everything is grown from organic seed, either in our poly tunnel or in the neighbouring field and everything is 100% organic. Our products are completely natural. We rely on organic principles with the aim of producing healthy, delicious products whilst caring for the countryside.
We currently specialise in organic culinary herbs which are sold in convenient pots ready for you to keep and use in your kitchen, or for you to plant out in your garden. Herb pots will last for days, weeks or months depending on much you use in your cooking and how well you look after the plants. They are completely different to herb pots bought in a supermarket. In fact, we’re so confident in our product that we offer a money back guarantee if the plant dies once you get it home.
Our wild rocket is sold in different sized bags to suit different people. The rocket bags will stay fresh and peppery for a whole week if kept in the fridge.
This is what customers say about our spicy, wild rocket:
“The best rocket I’ve ever tasted”
Claire from London
“
Packed with a punch”
Tim – Head chef from
London
“
Incredibly tasty - a pepper sensation”
Anthony from the Lake District
“
I can never get it to taste this good when I grow it myself”
John from
Winchester
In 2009 we developed our culinary range by introducing a new range of fresh pestos; wild rocket and roasted pine nut pesto and wild rocket and caper pesto. This year we’ve got hot and spicy and introduced a new chilli oil which is delicious on pizza, salads, drizzled on pasta dishes or used as a meat and fish marinade.
